Early
proto with very flexible chainstays and a milled aluminium forkcrown clamping
steerer and forkblades. The headset was installed upside down, and the steerer
was brazed to the stem. |
|
Note
the high pivot which gave lots of traction, but unfortunately also lots
of biopace-effect. |

The
Featherbed rear carrier design is already appearent, as is an early version
of the rear suspension. The swingarm frontsuspension had far to much (150%)
antidive (braking at tree-top level). Pity, because on bumps such a fork
is superior. The frametubes have grown somewhat since! |
